MIAMI – Before the sun rose over Kendall Indian Hammocks Park on Saturday, brothers from Oleeta West-Dade and from Florida’s 27th and 29th Masonic Districts gathered to support the March for Babies event, hosted by the March of Dimes.
The annual fundraiser, aimed at improving maternal and infant health outcomes, featured a festive atmosphere with a live DJ, a band, snacks, and a designated KidZone area to engage families and young children.
The March of Dimes continues to be a leading nonprofit in advocating for policies and programs that improve pregnancy and birth outcomes. Events like March for Babies raise critical funds to support research, education, and advocacy efforts nationwide.
Freemasons from both districts volunteered throughout the event, assisting with setup, breakdown, and logistical support for participants. The event raised over $140,000
